A simple, conventional slingshot with Thera Tube Black.

But very elegant, polished brass and 10 mm stainless steel.

The special thing is that I had to bend the fork after the round steel rod was already fixed to the handle, otherwise it wouldn't fit through the 10mm hole in the brass.

A highlight of my collection!

Jörg

Jörg, you made (again) a real Classic Beauty!

How do you fix the fork to the handle? (screws or....)

Doesn't the grip rotate in your hand, when you pull the tube, because it's so smooth?

Cheers,

Rb

I drilled another 10 mm hole in the bronze handle, slightly overlapping. The fork steel rod has a matching groove. Everything was fixed in place with a bit of epoxy, but the force is held by steel on steel, rock solid.

The smoothness works great, the slingshot self centers in your hand. It always turns towards the pouch.

Smooth grips are only bad for forward extended forks, those are tricky without wrist braces anyway.
