I've got fishing rods of all shapes and sizes and have tried all sorts of baits, but my brother in law gave me a fishing lesson on Saturday using crab lines and smokey bacon.

We pulled this lot out. On my second drop I had a sharp tug and then saw the flash of a brownie as it tried to take off with the bacon. It wasn't hooked and came off. 10 minutes later he took my brother in laws line and was properly hooked.

A blinding day out and a nice bit of grub for the barbie.
