Well I tell you guys, I'm hooked ! My first attempt at the making of a rock hurling device from a branch of the wifes shrub and then whittled down and outfitted with some linked together rubber bands didnt do so bad.

I put a paper target in a box ,pretty far out there ( about 10 feet, but the guy in me wants to brag and say no it was closer to 12 feet ) took to showing7 holes in it after firing off 10 rounds.

Now in a perfect world, that one shot that bounced off the side of the house ( and didnt break a window ) would not have happened, but it did, and I'm figuring that the telling of the truth here will be safe, so as to be able to move ahead with the project now of building a nice one. Going out hunting for wood at various yard sales this weekend.

Actually now reflecting back on the whole affair, I think the distance was more like 15 feet maybe even 20 :)

Have a great weekend all !
