yep theres allways some about on freecycle,join yer local group.
now heres a tip: find a loal small cider farm,they will sell you fresh pressed apple juice cheaper than ider,then just ferment it! alternatively ask them for the pressings,they look dry but theyre still good for cider,during the last war they would soak them in water and then drain off after 4 days,you effectively get another press of cider from them! _________________
Nice one have signed up but you have to wait, my mother and sister in law grow apples an some pairs although I don't know what type they are, I'm sure they'll do, I've been given one demijohn and I've had a look at making a press (doesn't seem to hard) so just need a bit more kit, good advice fish there is a cider farm near me I shall have to go and see them and maybe a bit of scrumping as well we shall see.
