Yesterday I have bought myself a table model home-smoker, to give it a try on home smoked trout, hams , sausages, mackarel, pigeon & goose breast etc.
So the three of us went fishing this afternoon for trout on a local fishing pond ( put & take) It was really hot weather and the three of us managed to get 5 perch but only one F@cking trout.
But I did gave the smoker a try and I have to say the trout , although rather expensive was lovely to eat.
First put it half un hour in a brine with herbs and after that smoked it for three quarter of an hour.
If all the food tastes so good coming from the smoker, the little beast will be making a lot of xtra hours.
Cheers,
