Nowadays sparrow & starling are protected but in the early sixties nobody cared about slaughtering these little birds

brilliant story wildman, , i use to take the rubber of the tops as well, put a point on them, but this time i would place a nut of a nut and bolt, over the point, to get a bit off weight to the tip. Mine was a tadpole,i kid you not,i was given a webley jaguar for my eighth birthday but wasnt aloud any pellets till me old man got in from work.So bein an ingeniuos little fek i decided to cock the gun and proceded to blow up tadpoles in garden pond!!Ah happy days.
