Im looking for some bits of stainless steel,1 1/4" x 1/4 "x14" to make some horseshoes from,i didnt know if anyone worked with it and would possibly have some offcuts for sale or swap??????

I have not got a clue really buddy something a little harder then mild steel,i want to have a go at making some sliding shoes for a horse i do,with mild steel he is bashing through them a bit quick,if you have got any 1/4" thick offcuts that you could cut to section for me that would be super.I can pay you or if you fancy some Latex bands we could do a swap.
This is the type of shoe i would like to end up making from it.

mate have some 30mmx5mm flat bar can cut to length for you  grade 304 let me know if its any use for you cheers

It needs to be 6mm Buddy,sorry to be fussy,but it makes a big difference to the shoes.
