Hi everyone new on and just a quick bit about myself. My biggest hobby is fishing where I specialize in catchin specimen brown trout commonly known as Ferox trout. I also enjoy field sports, used to do allot of ferreting and hunting with air rifles, getting back into catties with the help of this forum.

Cheers Rob

Hi Rob,
Welcome to the Shed, I haven't been in here long but I've learnt stacks about catty shooting, there's loads of experienced folk with good advice for the asking. That's one hell of a Ferox Trout you've got there ! It's one of my ambitions to spend a couple of weeks on the waters  up north and catch one. I also see you're a fan of Howard and Vince !  me too, just worried about bumping into the Hitchiker when I'm out with the catty after dark !

Cheers Strider

Good eating? How very dare you! Only kidding but if you want to eat a brownie get one about half a pound. Some of these are 15 years old and better to see them swim back than have a lump of meat.

You lucky barsteward. Fish you don't eat a ferox mate, they've been around from the ice age, Just like the grayling, nobody teach you anything at school, BUT id love to go fishing for one, you just never know monleyboab, you could be getting a wee message one day.
