2 Problem ExoticsHere's 2 frames that were anything but fun to finish. They took over 2 weeks to dry!  The left one is Cocobolo and the other is Bocote. They wouldn't dry so I sank them in an Acetone bath and stripped everything off. Then sealed them again right after taking them out of the bath(after dry). It worked on the Bocote but not the Cocobolo, So I did it again on that frame and it finally took the seal and hardened after a few days. A few guys from a couple other forums gave me a few tips and I appreciate it. I love this hobby. You're always learning something that will help you out! Beware of those beautiful but sometimes oily Exotics!  Flatband

Cocobolo is a really great looking wood,dense,hard,heavy-and as I learned- VERY VERY OILY!!!!!!  Flatband
