Ambitan............Fixing up a fishing trip with some badjao ambitan fishermen,and a friend at the DENR is trying to fix up a trip out with a collector who fishes for the aquarium export market,going shopping for new fins and mask this week.Ever heard of Ambitan fishing on your Fisheries course KT?Its a bit like tuba-tuba.

no mate, i hadnt most of the methods iv used or studiedon my course are EA aproved methods
fyke netting
fish traps
electro fishing (really fun)
seine netting
fish counters
crayfish traps
that sort of thing its a pitty really because im doin the degree lvl course there isnt too much practical work (there is some just not that much)
you ever used electro fishing kit mate?
its silent and very effective on shallow waters
