any pre ban tales to tell??ime sure ime not allone in having one or two pre-ban tales! so got any rmemorable ones to tell?

was out with my old man some years ago when i was a nipper had his saluki/greyhound with us we was going to have a scan round with the lamp see what shows up the first field we went onto scaned with the lamp nothing so we walked agood 20 minutes through a wooded area and came out on a freshly ploughed field lifted the lamp up and there in the lamp light was a big blacktip rabbit walked 5 yards towards the blacktip rabbit slipped the dog was a great course the dog ended up courseing the blacktip rabbit 300 yards turned went down through a ditch blacktip rabbit came back out into field dog had another 200 yards course and nailed it just before it went into the hedgrow dog retrieved the blacktip rabbit back to my old mans hand live to which he dispatched it i put the slip lead back on the dog gave him a good fuss and that was it well thats what we thought until we was walking back to the 4 by4 when i said to my old man can we have another scan of another field he said ok then we better be of so we walked round a big field nothing in the top of the field it wasnt until i turned the lamp back on there was old charlie standing there 100+ yards away slipped the dog fox didnt make 100 yards dog got up level with old charlie flipped him over shaked him and he was dead in seconds had some good lamps with the dog before the ban on blacktip rabbit,fox he took alot of black tip rabbit on the lamp plus he had a good cupple in day light to but sadly he isnt around anymore the dog broke his neck when was out coursing dad took him straight to the vets and the vet said the best thing to do was to put him to sleep shame was a cracking dog all the best sh

brilliant tale mate! ide tell my story but my ban came in in 1956 ,i wasnt born till 71 so itd have to be another time...........
