I wondered about that, I posted quite innocently about legally hunting blacktip rabbit s(blacktailed jackrabbits) and it appeared in my post as black tip rabbit. Very cunning they will never see through that!
statikpunk

actually the black-tailed jackrabbit..(lepus californicus) from the states is different from the European (h4re) (Lepus europaeus), at least according to the scientists.  i have seen plenty of jacks and seen lots of pictures of the English black tip rabbit on this forum and honestly i couldn't tell you the difference between the two in a lineup. Our Jack may have a little longer legs if anything.
here is a pic of a couple western stateside (black-tailed jackrabbits) could somebody post a pic of a European (h4re) (black-tip rabbit) hopefully one in better shape than the ones I posted.

sorry bout the gore, that particular gun i was using that day doesn't do anything gracefully

i love that gun   if i used that over here id be looking five years minimum   your so lucky in the states    all the best

yeah Im a gun nut and my father is a gunsmith,(its his one and only hobby and livelyhood) if they abolished guns in our country our whole lives would crumble.  we wouldn't even know what to do with ourselves.  so we are both very active in the pro-gun community. a lot of people even in our country do not believe that there is positive uses for a gun. we just try and change their minds.  my father often says if we want to save the country the best way is to take a child hunting

I try not to post to many pics like that, i feel like Im "rubbing it in" that we can have them and you cant.  it really is unfortunate.

Black tailed jackrabbits are h a r es just one of many species around the world. Blacktails are generally smaller than european browns and not as heavily built. To course they are generally similar than to the brown, although less inclined to jink and turn. The whitetailed jack is very similar to the brown in size and running style, very ready to jump and turn.
Here is a pic of a blacktail that wasnt quick enough
