i think they go off the makers name now if its not pse, hoyt mattews its not good but the look on there face when i beat them with a bow they think isnt worth cleaning ur toilet with puts some great scores in its brill and the funny thing about it is a old compound shooter at the club bought him self the same bow as me he hasnt never won any compo's before the first compo he entered with this bow he won top shot on the day made his 30,40,50,60 yard cert and he has never looked at his hoyt bow in ages all the best sh

i have pretty much same set up as silenthunter, although ive started making a few bows using http://poorfolkbows.com/index.html as a guide, just go down to the buildalongs, the first bow i built is actually my favourite, nowt better than shooting a bow you made yourself, relatively good accuracy too, im just going to keep pumping bows out untill they are up to the standards i expect from a top name bow............one day
Theres an amazing amount of info online about being a bowyer, my next project will be to make a laminated fiberglass bow. Once ive done that succesfully i am looking to build a strip build kayak....again loads of info online and keeps me occupied when im not hunting or working.
