a few years ago i was working on a farm in devon and the keeper there shot a badger and his wife cooked the two back legs i was invited to dinner and we ate one of the legs i was surprised to find that it tasted alot like pork only alot sweeter and i must add if i was blind folded i would have bet my life it was hedge hogg as the flavour is identicle

not so long ago it was a common dish,my dad can remember gran making brock hams,she even used to push cloves into it just like a posh ham!
in a SHTF situation ide do it too!

That's what i thought, but i reckon i would be well down the 2nd bottle of the Amber Nectar before i would try it.
