Bruised Fingers... Gloves a solution?Just gave my middle finger one whoore O slap!
Felt like getting a cane across one's fingers. Fine bruise coming up..
Question...
Anyone got glove recomendations or shall I just man up and put normal length elastics on again?

Gloves help. To some extend. Hits will still hurt, but not quite as bad.

I have found that having a good follow through drasctically reduces hand slap..it also increases acuraccy ...when you shoot let your hand naturally drop to a resting position, using the force of the band to guide it. ...it works for me anyway ..
I would say that if your getting hand slap so severe that your raising bruises on your knuckels then there is something drastically wrong with your setup. everyone gets a little hand slap, but it shouldnt be wounding you.

If you use shot that is too light in your catty the power in the bands will not be fully used up and this will cause a slap,try heavier shot or lighter bands and it should help.

I had to change my style when I got a few cheek slaps, now they really hurt
