these havent been used yet ,but i will when theyre painted,they are what is called a surface popper,as you jerk it it makes a splash,very good for pike.

fish the lures look stunning, i cant see if you' have done it but i would personally paint the edge of the gills red.
an ill fish will often rapidly move and flare its gill plates in the vain attempt to get more oxygen to the gills.
have you decided on what your gonna do about the eyes?
Iv cleared alot of bushes and trees from my garden recently and i was looking at the wood (the circumfrence was easily wide enough)
every type of wood is obviously gonna have a different boyouncy the beauty of carving your own is the price, most lures are rediculosly over the priced

ive ordered somw eyes from an amerian taxidermist supplier,not cheap but glass and really classy ive ordered fish eyes and frog eyes for the frog lure.

are these lures gonna be ornimental or are they gonna be used, as i dont think i could bare snaggin somthing which has taken me that long up! Id swim for it!

the eyes aint cheap but theyre the best! and yes the lures are gonna be used,for now ive fitted 3d holo eyes till i get the glass ones.
