Different venison recipes

We shoot quite a lot of Muntjac around here, and the roast joints and fried fillets are really good but I was wondering if anyone has any different recipes for it?

Something we discovered was good is devilled ribs on the BBQ which I'll be having tonight after we shot one yesterday.  Went out at dawn today for another one today but all I saw was a Roe doe.

Here's the devilling sauce recipe for anyone that wants to try it:

Equal quantities of ketchup and brown sauce (enough to cover the meat)
2 tablespoons brown sugar
OXO (other brands are available!) liquid stock

Split the ribs into 2s and 3s, cover the ribs in the sauce and leave for a day, then either BBQ or grill and enjoy!

My o/h sits it in a bowl with red wine overnight before cooking, we have only ever roasted ours, we dont have it that often as ours comes from the butchers.
Some butcher , I once asked him if he could tell me what kind of deer it was, he looked puzzelled and said "do you mean male or female".
DOH!!
