Fishing in and around beaumaris,anglesey

I'm going coarse fishing in anglesey later this month but i fancied a spot of pier or shore fishing while i'm there,has anybody got any tips on hot spots.I fancy fishing the pier in beaumaris for mackerel but not sure if its worth a go.Any advice would be welcomed
