FLOATS WANTEDIm looking for some old quill type floats to add to my old style fishing gear. these will be refurbished by myself and also used by me. I WONT BE SELLING THEM ON and i will gladly send cash to cover cost of postage as well as paying for them. Any old pike bungs, quills and interesting olddies will be well recieved.
heres a few i made last year
LIKE IVE SAID, IM NOT LOOKING TO MAKE SOME MONEY OFF ANY I WILL BE SENT, ITS JUST MY PASSION FOR MAKING FLOATS AND USING THEM

Hey Longtail
I don't have any old quill floats but can get loads of quills if you want them. I make my floats from seagull flight feathers and they are perfect for the job. They straighten beautifully with a little heat from a lighter and are just as good as peacock quills.
There will be loads of them on the beach after this weeks storm and I will be down there tomorrow for a spot of beach combing. I have a stack of them here ready to be made into floats over the winter and you are welcome to have what I find tomorrow.

After months of presure I finally gave in and cleaned out my shed at my mam and dad's house, I remember seeing my old fishing tackle box, remember them small flat grey ones, about an inch high, i'll dig it out tomorrow and have a peek inside for you.

I have just been down the beach and collected about 250 prime seagull flight feathers. I couldn't get any more because my pockets were full and I couldn't hold any more. There are literally millions of them in Chesil Cove, at the Portland end of Chesil Beach along with loads of great wood for making stuff and a very smelly dead sheep!
How many do you want LT?
