Fox with a Muzzle Loader (VERY GRAPHIC!!!)Here is a fox that was shot with a .50 cal muzzle loading shotgun, firing a solid lead ball at around 40 yards.
The red circle on the chest is the entry and the hole in the lower abdomen is the exit. |

The fox is in poor condition too. Reminds me of many moons ago while in Canada, the locals were shooting jack rabbit with .50 cal!!!!!! :D :D |

The photo was taken the morning after I shot it. It's not that old and the teeth were in good nick, but the coat was a mess. if you look in the top picture you can see the end of the brush under the body where it came off as I picked it up!!!! |

I see a lot of foxes that have fed on rubbish/scraps - even people putting feed out for them :twisted: and nine times out of ten there coats are a mess.
One of the pet shops up here sells fox & badger food????WTF!! Nothing like seeing a nice healthy fox with good coat. |
