General Knife design

There are several threads on making knives, and i have made some,- but also bought a couple, this being one of them, many years ago. Its a Nieto 440c ( Famous for quality Knives ).
General shape of blade is great for gutting and skinning, and general all-round use. A good shape if anyone is looking for an idea to work on.
Advertised at only 36 euros, its a bargain as i paid a lot more than that many years ago. It comes with a high quality , heavy duty leather sheath.
The photos i took make the blade look a little chipped but its only the camera, the blade is perfect and razor sharp.

That looks a good knife for general skinning and boning of bigger stuff like deer. Does it keep a good edge Dave ?
Cheers.

Hmm. Thats a nice lookin knife i think but i wouldnt work with it on a deer. Just my oppinion. I like smaller knifes for deer. Anyway, great pics of a nice knife.

Yes Richie
It works great on a deer,- we have done a few with it, and it keeps a great edge. Its a real good knife, and i'd recommend any one to get one at that price,- you'd not be dissapointed. You need to "feel" the knife to understand what i mean.
Kimmo, its not as big as you may be thinking. Perhaps the photos ?
