We have two books here by Henry Smith, both from the early 50,s, The master book of poultry and game and the master book of fish, they are full of unbeleivable stuff, not much escaped their attention believe me.
Both these books can be picked up cheap on Abe, genuinly worth a look.

Not a word of a lie, a fella I work with told me his brother-in-law, who is a doctor by the way, fancied something differant for Christmas a few years ago, he qued up in his local butchers then when it was his turn, asked how much for a swan please.
