GWP bitch with a rash.I have a gwp bitch who has a rash on the inside of the rear legs. It is slighly red and I think she may be making it worse. I have been covering the area with a teatree oil based ointment for rashes and abrasians.
I know I should take her to the vet and that will be the next step if I can't cure it myself. It's just that I've been out of work for a few months and it's an expense I haven't bugeted for.

flea allergy? try adding some garlic granules to the food thats good for detering ticks and fleas. sure it isnt one of those nasty spiders you get over there?

dont laugh but when ever we had a dog with mange or sores or rashes my dad and lots of other dog owners like him would rub waste oil over the infected aria works woders

No, there are no fleas etc the kennel is very clean and she is checked regularly. I am trying a different type of food to see if that helps. I've been using Aldi canned and dryfood. I too have heard about sump oil but I believe this is a cure for mange. I do believe there is a story about in in one of the Old Man and the Boy books. The spiders aren't as big a problem as they would have you believe.
