Hawking photosJust a few photos from hawking last week,3rd fox that my male golden eagle has taken this season from a twisting tail chase through the woods wich ended up with a dog fox in the bag.Having dispatched the fox i opened up its chest and let my fella decide what was on offer.

Could always do with beaters if they have H-are or them things with hooves
goldfinch2007,what part of the country are you?,my eagle is used to some dogs but when a dog has been used to flush a fox(just used a terrier the once) he is kept hooded untill the fox bolts from the hole,if you look at the photo of me holding the fox with him hooded you get the idea.

i have a fair bit of ground but suffer a lack of hooved ones, could probably arrange blacktip rabbit although i'd have to check with the land owner. Got fox everywhere but rarely see them day time. What kind of ground suits your bird best?

Hello Tyler, for blacktip rabbit its best to have open fields for off the fist flights and for the other two either the same or open natural woodland, not the dense commercial forestry.

Can arrange open ground for blacktip rabbit or ferreted rabbit, assuming he is interested in small stuff. But fox daytime is a hard one and same with roe, they are there but couldnt guarantee a flight, only see them when i see them if you see what i mean?
