Hello allHi all
I joined last year and have just realised I have never posted so sorry about that.
I live in somerset and have made several cattys and sticks also I am a keen hunter with ferrets and make my own nets also I use air rifles I live very near the River Tone (about 10 mins. walk) and fish for lovely brown trout and have even caught a few rainbows over the years.
I look forward to being a member of this forum and hope I can help out with the odd input.
Sorry the intro was so long in coming but I was just reminded about the site through one of the emails saying keep it nice

I mostly make my own ferret nets and stop nets but have made a fox net before although it never got used never tried making fishing nets as the mesh is so fine.
I live a reasonable way from you in wellington although we may have rubbed shoulder at the game fair over the years.

nice down that way,i used to live in that area sort of! n ever get up on exmoor? i used to do the moor road from bridgewater to taunton,loadsa deer!
ive not mad a fox net,i saw some at the game fair and they were making £5.00 each!
