Hello and thanks...Hello all my name is Jim,
2 years ago I had to make the heartbreaking decision to have my hancock lurcher "paddy" (RIP) put to sleep. We had roamed the fields for 14 years together but he got a tumour and nothing could be done.
I came home that day, and gave away my ferret nets, locator, air rifles and anything else I had in the shed. I never wanted to go out for a "mooch" ever again.
3 weeks ago I found this site and started to read about what you lot have been upto...and its made me realise what I have been missing (and in need of) So thanks to all of you who take time to post on here.
This pic was taken tonight on my first trip out decoying for ages. To be honest I would have been more successful throwing the gun at 'em my shooting is so rusty! but we did get 3 for the pot

Welcome to the shed mate.
I lost my dog and felt the exact same,gave up for a while exept a bit of fishing,but if its in you you'll allways go back eventually.
If i didn't have the dogs i would go nuts,simple as that.

I was considering getting a pup (Bedlington x whippet) from my mate but the Mrs talked me out of it (for good reason tho')
Here is a pic of the Ol' Fella, he was past his prime when this was took, but still able to jump a 5 bar gate with ease.

 Hi, great place to be --- in the shed with your mates, i know how how you feel i lost my old dog last year, and i've not done much apart from a bit fishing for the past couple of years, but when you get involved with the "shed " ? well anything can happen, if ever a place was going to rekindle your interests in the country ,this is the place ,everyone who comes in the shed and stays is always ready to help

As thanks to Jacks Shed, I have knocked the day off and am going out with the Gun ...AGAIN (her word...not mine)
Ah she'll get soon ge used to me disappearing ( what I have failed to mention is... it's her birthday today  ... but one must get one's priorities right  )
So glad I found the Shed
