its been done fish,theres an arab geezer on YT coursing jack rabbits with a cheeta dont know how to find it again though?
The American author Daniel Mannix had a cheeta,he coursed deer with it, its in his book "A sporting chance" he had to give it up after the cheeta pulled a dirt biker off his bike in the desert if i remember right. Its an entertaining read if you can find it Mannix is a proper nut job. |

I second the book choice. A Sporting Chance is one of the best books (of far too many to mention) that I've had the privilege of reading and should be required of all Shed Members. He also covered hunting ducks with a nonreturning boomerang, bobcats with a blowgun, crossbow bears, harpooning sharks in the surf (not from a boat but on foot), cormorant fishing, and using an otter as a reciever. Excellent stuff and easily found on Evil Bay. | ||

You can always get a serval, bit smaller than a cheetah, lot easier to get hold of, DWAL wont be too hard to get for one, i think theyd be amazing for rabbits, was thinking of getting one the other year, saw some kittens for £800. |

Theyre bred in scotland and in manchester, ill try fish out the names of the breeders. A lot of people are hybridising them with domestic cats to come up with designer cats but a pure serval would be perfect for hunting with.
Heres some clips from youtube of servals, they can vary in size quite a it and can get quite large.
