i went to a lecture todayi do attend all my lectures but this one was an optional one and thought may be rather useful
--disclaimer-- i put the following information up so that you do not by off season fish, the information below is not to be used for poaching and taking fish illegally and i do not condone such actions --disclaimer--
thats that out the way
had a lecture by some one from the part of the enviroment angency which catches poachers
(well attempts to they really are a bit of a joke really)
they are only small only 5 of them to cover kent and east sussex
methods of detection
they mainly rely on tip offs from the public
from there power point presentation they use a wide variety of surveylance techniques including night sights binoculars and trap cameras (cameras which send out a little beam and when it is broken by somthing be it a animal or a poacher takes a picture)
they are also taught surveliance techinques for following and hiding up
innocent untill proven guilty, think again
if they catch you with fish with gill net marks on them you are instantly guillty of taking those fish illegally unless you have the correct paper work to state overwise.
also if you take fish from a enclosed lake then the legislation means that you arent poaching but your actually stealling which carrys harsh sentances
anyho il add more to this later
was st trinnians night last night up the student bar and didnt stop drinking till 4am
im off to get more sleep
