Some players need codecs to play vid files, thats why sometimes when ure watchind a clip it tends to jusmp, skip etc. 9times outta ten its a codec broken or not installed properly, for instance im only after working on a dvd and the pic and sound wss outof sync, and another case was the software i was using wouldnt open the video fle to start with, so i installed the full codec pack and both problems were cured, its just another step to ensure u have everything u need to play a file.It also can help to open up windows a bit quicker than normal.

oh i see! my router is my problem at the moment,it goes into melt down when you try viewing video!

i take it ure vids are palying better now, have they improved from utube as well.
