jackdawswhat do jackdaws taste like, theres two decided to nest in my roof and what a bdooly mess they are making all over my path i'm determined to catty them, are they edible, i've eaten rook but never jackdaw  ..mack

never known any one to eat jackdaw mack, what put me off eating corvids is what they feed on and how long they can live so might be a bit tougth to chew on, i have been told some crows and rooks can live 10-15 years.?

corvids are eat carrion,that puts me off,rooks however are vegies and so nicer to eat in my view!

They taste good,but cook em long!I just breast them and then throw them in a casserole or soup.
