And here's the man himself
Is he French or what ???
All his knives are made with old steel, plough shares, old files lawnmower blades etc,and for the handles he uses(I think) 37 different materials, all types of horns and lots of different woods, which he hardens in different ways
I've his permission to include his address etc,but I doubt very seriously if he speaks English

and his e-mail address

Thanks for looking

There were lots of other things at the fete including identifying mushrooms, reviving old fruit orchards, basket making etc,but I met and talked with soooo many people and finally got dragged to the bar by a Portugese fishing buddy, and when we came outside most of the stands had packed up

Actually it's very rare that people here understand what's written on their T-shirts etc,as it's invariably written in English,I'm often asked to translate, one young lady had a white T-shirt(exceedingly well filled,I may add)with a single red rose on it and the caption "Life is a bed of roses, watch out for pr*cks"try translating that in front of a crowd of people
