me goose was nabbed!took my kids to the park today ,there is a large boating lake there and feeding on the grass were some canadian geese,i shot one with a catty and a .44cal lead shot,it hit mid neck,it just dropped to the ground and was clearly dead just a few flaps of the wings ! being as it was daytime i checked it was dead and hid it in the reeds,when i went back an hour later it was gone! theyre worth £20 each here!!!! ille take a bag next time!

There's a boating lake near us and allways drooled at 'em as allot of fat geese there... hopefully the OH reading this will realise its Ok... to take the grandkids and and show them how to catch dinner (gonna go start practiceing with the catupult now!)

the 'tame' geese are easy to catch and theyre well fed by all the do gooders! i shot this one from 5yards! i was so sure itd bugger off!

Could have been a fox?
when you have to leave something to pick it up later its a good idea to urinate [being polite] on the edges of the bush you hide it in,no fox will go anywhere near then,works a treat at night when hanging long tails in a bush for collecting later.

Just seen on the local news that you can get a £75 fine for feeding the canada geese in Nottingham,i wonder if that includes feeding them lead????
I wonder if it was the old lady that stole your rabbit a bit back that has taken your goose???
