My Staffordshire Bull Terrier has been in the wars.My Staffie bitch had to have an eye removed 2.5 weeks ago due to an old injury which was giving her constant grief.
She'd already undergone some corrective procedures to repair the 25% of the eye surface she lost (by running into a tree in true frantic staffie style) but there were ongoing problems regarding the blood supply to the eye and she developed Glaucoma, which is extremely painful so we decided the best thing for her was to have it 'hooked' out!
Now she has recovered remarkably well in such a short time, I'm amazed.
She is so much more happier in herself & having one eye less has not phased her at all.
Here she is the day of her Op & today, just over 2 weeks later!
healed up lovely!

She's a great old gal... there's nothing of her now although in her day her back legs were like Turkey Dumsticks!..
