New slingshot: "The Mask"I am taking my "W" concept one step further.
I am now convinced that a design that has no horizontal fork part is superior as it allows the bands to run very flat over your hand. Hence, the strain on the wrist is limited. Strong bands are possible without (illegal?) braces.
I also wanted to reduce the slap on the back of your fingers if you pull out heavy bands.
So I constructed a self stabilizing "mesh" from thin steel rods. Works like a charm!

That, and also the nasty slap on the fingers when you use strong bands and lightweight bullets.
