Hi there and welcome from a fellow 21 year old Michael :D
Just joined the site myself and had a fish catty for a few weeks now.
They're fricken awesome things. The power in them is incredible (just shortened the bands as I tore one and I'm now quite worried at the power! *blue tack went through a shoe box!*)
What one have you ordered? Got myself the brown hunter and just ordered a rather yummy one made from Zebrano.
Cheers fir Noo

At close range I recon blue tack will take out the biggest of bears.. ;) It is best if it's ages for a while as it become harder. Not bad for indoor practice :D
Can't advise too much as just starting out but I have noticed that when I am holding it one's fingers don't really wrap around the shaft. Could be to do with my small hands and with the thumb and index being on the top of the U bit..
It is a strange feeling but you do get use it.
The most important thing is practice practice practice.. I've done two target sessions (now hold the catty differently) and even after 10 mins one's accuracy goes up. From what i've read its best to stick with the same ammo as different wieghts/diameters behave differently.
I have been using 7-9mm stainless bb's but find they are very light. (15mm perhaps is needed?) Fish's lead ammo is the sex off ammunition and I've ordered myself 100 to use during target sessions.
Your initials are MAB?
Oh No...
So are mine :)
Make for a fine array of nicknames.. Mabs, Mabster and my favourite 'Mabsilicious'- As said by a rather respectable archeologist :)
Cheers Laddie
