Here you can see how it works, in German again but the pictures tell their story.
Friend of mine has one; one should be very carefull using this tool, otherwise you really could get hurt really badly!!
It uses 9 mm centrefire blank cartridges ( same as used in humane killers) and blow the mole to pieces when it hits the frontring / trigger.

well theres one on ebay from germany,i did wonder if it was classed as a firearm here.

I'd be very interested in finding one of these,we're infested with 'rat taupier'here,they're a tunneling rat,or enormous vole,which eats everything underground including potatoes,carrots etc,imagine seeing your leeks being pulled underground,well that happens here every winter
