Out last nightHad a walk down to the river last night to check out the activity in a certain spot, lots of little fish jumping so going there spinning on friday to see what I can catch.
Any way on the way back in the dark i saw a shadow of a rabbit against the light of the town, stopped where I was and got my catty quietly out of my pocket loaded a lead ball took aim and fired.
In a split second after the band had released I heard a very load thump and watched that rabbit slump straight over.
The pic is not great as it was taken in torchlight with my mobile phone, see it's handy to carry your catty even when not planning to use it.

No sadly I have just got back from Lewisham in SE London and there is not much to hunt there even one of the parks was bereft of ducks due to botulism blamed on people feeding bread and it sinking to the bottom and rotting, they now want to sell you floating duck food but there are no ducks?
Anyway I am going to relate a little something that happened in the chat section..

Loads of squirrels in the parks in South East London. Even white ones in Beddington park in Carshalton.
