Out shooting today.08.30 start, not a bad morning, bright and dry anyway.
The first drive I was shooting like a fool,  couldn't hit a thing, then it was our teams turn to beat, nice and leisurley, nothing too taxing. 
The third drive I had 4 pheasants fly my way, I hit 2 and missed the other 2, the first one I shot fell into the next field, I thought i'll get that in a minute, another came over I hit that and it landed in a tree, anyway drive over I heard an engine start up in the field behind me where the first bird ended up,some barsteward from the neighbouring shoot on a quad bike nicked my pheasant. :smt013
We had a few more drives and I bagged a wood pigeon.
Then to cap a good day off we flushed a big dog fox  it ran straight towards the guns, and that was the end of him.
Not a bad day: 22 Mallard, 20 Pheasant, 2 Wood Pigeons, 1 Fox, and 1 Grey Squirrel.
