they were 'branch davidian 'pheasants after a seige they shot each other and set fire to the woods................
ere mayfly if you want some tail feathers for tying just shout,therll be a few french partridge feathers too.

I just been through to where I keep me dog. bdooly feathers every where! Whatever he's plucked aint alive no more! Plucking 'ell!
He's been and plucked the last remaining cockerel, bdooly gate blown through with the wind and the dog got to the chickens!!
