Yogs,I see hundreds of them every morning, very easy to get,I caught one in a mist-net a few years ago,and I know a guy who shot a few with his airgun in the back-garden,I have seen them in the wild in India also.We have another colony of totally different parrots just up the road in Weybridge, but the Ring-necked are descended from escapees at Shepperton when Bogart was filming "African Queen"
fish

what did they taste like?
Tidal_wear

They are small really fish, wouldnt think theres much meat on them, they fly over every morning in flocks, loads of them making a proper racket, the one I caught in my sisters back garden ripped a hole in my net when I was extracting it

Could you not catch them live, cage them, then play them the radio or something until they learn to talk?  Just asking as trained parrots are quite valuable.

Dont think so fishy,I caught one alive, wild as f**k,I found a few nests so maybe a youngster would be more viable but whats the point mate, they look better flying wild, they add a touch of colour to the bird-table

I've never seen a wild parokeet, my sister lives in London and has seen them there but I don't think their colonies have spread to wales yet.

I did see a monkey once whilst fishing at Quarry pool, I couldn't beleive my eyes when it went through the trees. I pointed it out to my mate. Half an hour later a chap from the circus that had stopped in town came and asked if we'd seen it, he eventually captured it and gave us a tenner each for our help.
squirel killer

imo every one of them should be killed destroying our native bird nests they may be exotic and what not but a total pest like the grey squirrel
