11 " wide, 10" deep; it wasn't the biggest there by any means, there were some enormous hammerheads. It is big enough to go on my shed door !!!
Cheers.

The thing with your is its tooth perfect,I have had them in the past that had teeth knocked out etc,but the average native fisherman is more concerned with the fins and meat nowadays,I have a few hawksbill turtle shells, decent sized ones, they use them mainly for making guitars,I will get a few pics next month, funny the things you pick up (No fish,I dont mean social diseases)
That will make a nice mount on a varnished plaque.

There was a local fisherman had some for sale,i went along the beach to have a look at them, they were still alive, have you felt the power in those things? The shells go for a couple of quid each when bought at source, even though I have netted that beach loads of times I havent actually caught one myself

Small one?The trafficking of illegal animals isnt that far behind drugs, arms, and people as a money-spinner,do a web-search on the Phillipine monkey eating eagle,I was offered a skin of one for $100,and its possible to pick up a pet Tarsier for less than half that.
