a fire went through and you can see the break the fire truckds made across the land
these are the mountains that where in my back yard growing up, didnt realize how lucky i was when I was a kid
me and my dad, you can see the mountains in the back, those mountains are one of the only places on earth besides the Himalayas that you can shoot snow ptarmigan
here is some property me and a buddy where gonna buy, the property line went all the way back to half way up the hills in the background, we didnt buy it because getting electricity there was gonna costs a fortune.

brilliant!the rocks with the holes in are the old inian dwellings or a natural feature?
the dust devils are smart are they like a tornado?
so what other than trout are in the river do you get any grayling?

they are not dwellings but if you wander around those holes you can find artifacts like flint chips and flat stones where a deadfall might have been set up...the indians of my area used wikiups for dwellings but according to a sign at the lake nearby many Indians lived in the area that these pics where taken.
yeah dust devils are like tornadoes but they will not kill yah
as for trout in this river you are pretty much limited to rainbow and browns, but in other rivers and lakes nearby you can get cutthroat, cutbow, and brook, pretty easily. and no we dont have any grayling.

i dont have any pics of a cutbow but its exactly what you would imagine a cross between a rainbow and a cutthroat would look like
