split cane rod for a walking stickSold a stick on wednesday and the chap who had my stick used to fish but through ill heath he cant fish anymore . I asked him if he had any fishing kit left he said that he had a bit 2 split cane carp rods one he wanted to sell . so on thursday I was just about to leave the house to cut willow to have a go at making thatching spars when he turned up with the rods . the one that he selling needs some work on it I asked him how much he wanted and he said all he wants was this stick its the one on the right
and this is what I go . Cant wait to try it out just need to find the bits hopefully I will find them on Sunday it needs a new handle and a top eye

hi fish he is keeping that one but if you are intrested I will have a word with him . He built them himself so it might be a keepsake but I will see what I can do mate
