Staffordshire Bull Terrier.This is a workmate's dog, a bit of a longshot but thought i'd give it a go.The dog is 7 years old, it has lived indoors as a pet all its life, although it has been a young girl's companion for all that time (she is now 12) he says it must go to a home with no kids, no other pets, and is protective of it's own area as it attacked a delivery man once, he does not want it going to a home for breeding purposes, (but i'd say once it somebody elses dog it's their choice) The dog has to go due to an elderly relative moving in with them. Anybody interested in this dog should expect the 3rd degree from his ex (who has the animal) and if the distance aint too great she may like to see any prospective home aswell. They have contacted SB Rescue, who said they cant take him because nobody is adopting bull terriers much these days since the tragic death of little Ellie Lawrence a couple of years ago. There is no charge for the dog, just a good home wanted. The dog will be p.t.s if no home found soon. He is in Merseyside, pm me for the lad's mobile number if interested. Thanks all. |

I think, though not posative, that was the place they contacted, that said they couldn't take him.
