so i am in the market for a dog and up untill now i have owned labradores 4 in a row as a matter of fact and one mutt since i was a kid...but now I am thinking of getting something smaller. I have been looking around and think that a whippet would be fun, with a trappers license in my state i can hunt rabbits all I want. but I have heard some horror stories about whippets, not following orders very well.. Im sure somebody has one on here and i was wondering what kind of family dogs they make as well as how loyal and obediant they are ..in general.
all my labs have been obediant and loyal to a fault, and I dont want to get something that i have to keep a really close eye on or its in the next county

whippets are a very easy to train breed along with being hard working and loyal , easy to keep and maintain , a very happy breed imo , they will work so hard for you and keep at it , good stamina , healthy breed too and of course perfect for bunnies!!!! as a family pet they are ideal , very good tempered and laid back
if you have any questions please ask
