Hi , folks ,
My first picture post in here , not familiar with the procedure , so I hope that something good would come out of it .
Shot some pictures of various homemades this morning , wrote some comments into that photobucket album ,...... if any questions should come up , I'd gladly answer them .
I'd be glad , if someone could tell me , how to upload single images from "photobucket" in full size(650 pixels should be OK , I guess) in here , would surely look more pleasant on the forums that way !
My problem in particular is how to get the entire picture code from "photobucket" into the text , that I would write in here !
There must be a way without always having to write the particular image code from "photobucket" on a piece of paper and typing it from there into the text , .........I am a real computer dummy , I have never found out about that !
Alright , as I promised , here are some of my plugs , ..........the ones on the first two pictures are shaped without using a lathe , I have pre-sanded their tail tapers on a sanding disc and finished by hand sanding .
Note the line tie and hook hanger on the shorter silver plug(with spinner) , these eyes have been furnished by glueing in a "paperclip"-like wireform into a bore leading from headplane to belly , ..........for salmon plugs to be rigged straight onto the main line , one could glue in a piece of metal ,-or rigid plastic tubing instead .
These two ones are lathe-turned , the head plane of the "Tomic" knock-off was pre-cut on my hobby routing machine , the cuppings on the headplanes I furnished with a "Dremel" multitool .
Any questions ? Feel free to post !
Thanks for your interest , .............greetz , diemai _________________ Each Lure Will Catch On Its Day (Charlie Bettell)
They look fantastic, the smaller lathe turned one is very like a lyman lure. They are exactly the type of lures I use, the finishes on them are excellent too! Thankyou for sharing them.
