just tail and claws , take the black intestine out of the tail, then i dont have to purge them, just put the whole cray  in boiling water for 3 or 4 minutes then pull off tail and claws....fabulous...mack

My boat is on L&L , crays hav'nt got in there yet, nearest is the macclesfield canal its teeming with them   ....mack

nice catch,i know the signal crayfish are vermin but if everyone who caught them done the same as you cooked and ate them it would keep them under control good eating

crays are a £1 each on the markets, i usually get a dozen at a time in my trap when i'm boating   ....mack

I love canal fishing! It is my absolute favorite fishing environment. I love eating crawdads  
" crayfish", when the fish didnt bite we'd catch those crustaceans and call it a day.

The Canals I fished had some different species, since this is the USA, yet carp are present.
