went for a walk last night, got out of the jeep and not five minutes later the dogs are into something, after i've dealt with that something big and very edible jumps out of the hedge 100 yards away, and off they go again.
I have now lost sight of them, so i'm running around looking for them and ten minutes later, the dogs return tounges out and wet, all ok i thought apart from a few bites on the whippet, back to the jeep, the whippet is leaking blood like a good un, and the big lurcher is a bit stiff,so back home i go, i have washed the dogs off and cleaned them up, all good i thought.
I fed them an hour later, and both the whippet is limping on his front foot, and the lurcher is only standing on 3 legs, his back leg is off the ground, he's very sore and yelping in pain so i dose them both up with pain killers.
I've come back home from work today to find  the whippet right as rain and the lurcher still in pain, i've had a feel over his leg and it looks like he's pulled a muscle, so its no exercise for a few days and then some light road work to try and get him sorted...
The perils of owning running dogs!!!!!!!   but you gotta love em !
