this may sound stupid but as i am a man in learning, where do you place these traps, what sort of water do cray fish like, so i know where do drop them when out fora walk.

pretty much any where its wet mate! if there are crayfish there you will catch some and if not you might end up with an eel instead!
close in to the bank and around tree roots is best from what ive been told!

well ive given up on the wicker trap for now!!!
i went and cut a load of willow and hazel this morning but every time i try to bend it or twist it into withies it just snaps!
really doing my head in as ive made stuff with willow before
