now that would be hard to choose eh? women come and go but taking a grizzlywith a bow would only happen once and the memmories would stay with you till you die!

fish,
the artwork of the guy shooting the kodiak from behind the rock is supposed to be based on the legendary hunt of Fred Bear on Kodiak Island or so i was told. only problem is Fred Bear was left-handed and this guy is shooting a right-handed recurve. oops!
i saw film footage of the bear that Fred took on Kodiak Island and it was awesome. talk about nerves of steel and proper arrow placement. that man had to have some serious balls to take a Kodiak from such a short distance with a bow. i have nothing but respect for the man and his accomplishments in the bowhunting field. he was at the bowhunter's nationals i attended one year.

the girl shooting the longbow is one of the staff at three rivers archery in indiana. very nice people and very good to do business with. they have anything and everything to do with traditional archery.

tc,
wildman

if you like the pick of the bear hunt the same artists does a bunch of posters for a company that sells arrows called grizzly stik you can see their stuff at
www.alaskabowhunting.com their arrows are expensive (175 dollars for six when I bought them) but if your a bowhunter they are super tough an well worth the expense, i live in one of the rockiest areas of the world and I have never broken a shaft hunting rabbits and things.  the only problem is when you lose one you feel half sick!

actually i was just on the site and their prices are much more reasonable now, almost half of what i spent when i got em. (gonna get some more now )

well I ordered those particular arrows online but yes my town has two archery shops, one of them I'm pretty good friends with the owner.
